All Bookings are accepted in accordance with the Terms & Conditions specified below.

Students must make their own arrangements in respect of insuring for cancellation.

A booking with the julia grant academy is a legally-binding contract whereby you make a commitment to the academy which must be honoured by you.

1. Booking Fees:

i:  All courses must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

ii.  Payment may be made by cash, cheque, or credit, debit or charge card (VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA, SWITCH or PAYPAL ACCOUNT).  Please quote the card type, card number, expiry date and security code (last 3 digits on back of card). 

2: Transfer of Course Fees:

i.  These will only be allowed up to 10 weeks prior to the commencement of  the Course for which they have been paid and are subject to availability of  places on the Course to which a transfer is requested.

ii.  An administration Fee of £15 per person (which amount may be subject to change from time to time) will be payable at the time of transfer. Only one transfer is permitted.

iii.  Transfers cannot be made in respect of any other Courses run at the academy by organisations other than the academy itself.

3: Course Fee Payments:

i.  The up-to-date Tariff charges at the time of printing are incorporated in the appropriate part of the web site.  These charges (and any promotional offers) are subject to change and at the discretion of the julia grant  academy. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the Tariff will be that ruling at the time of booking.

ii.  VAT will be charged where appropriate at the current rate.

 4: Cancellation

i: In the event of cancellation (other than by the julia grant academy) of any booking, the Academy will make the following cancellation charges.

More than 30 days                       15% of total price
21-30 days                                       50% of total price
11-20 days                                        75% of total price
10 days or less                                100% of total price

ii: The academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking without explanation and to refund any deposit or other payment made.

iii: Courses with less than 15 students may be cancelled.

5: Dietary Arrangements

The Course charges include the provision by the Academy of its standard or vegetarian meals only.  The Academy does not provide A la Carte meals.

6: Smoking

Please note that all parts of the Springboard Centre are strictly ‘no smoking’ areas.

7: Disclaimers
   
i: The Academy accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for visitors’ money, clothing, documents, valuables or items or belongings.

ii. Subject to errors and omissions, the Tutors listed are correct at the time of printing.  However, these may be subject to change if necessary without notice, for which the academy cannot be held responsible or liable.

iii: The opinions expressed by individual Tutors, etc, at the Academy are not necessarily representative of academy policy nor of view held by the academy itself.

8: Private Sittings

Please note that if you are dissatisfied with your sitting you must tell the Medium so at the time.  The Medium will then escort you to the Academy administrator for a refund.  Later complaints cannot be accepted

9: Other Terms, Conditions and Notices

i:  No private sittings, circles, séances, demonstrations, groups, workshops, talks, lectures, healing, complementary therapies or similar activities are allowed to take place with the Academy unless under the direct control and supervision of one or more of the Tutors working on the Course.

ii.  No cameras or other filming or video/audio recording equipment are to be used in the academy or its precincts, without prior permission in writing from the Academy Manager.  The content of all audio and visual recordings remains the copyright of the academy and may not be used for public or commercial purposes.  Any public use, whether or not for gain, will constitute a breach of the Copyright Laws.

iii.   No person is allowed to promote, advertise, offer or sell goods or services in the Academy or its precincts.

iv.  We regret that visitors’ pets cannot be permitted.

v.  The Manager has the right to refuse admission to the academy or any part of the Springboard Centre, at any time.  Students exhibiting unacceptable behaviour will be asked to vacate the Academy premises by the Manager and or the Course Tutor.

10: Customer Service Guarantee

Providing a high level of customer service satisfaction is the main ethos at  the julia grant academy and we endeavour to provide a quality service  to all our clients.  However, we do recognise that from time to time issues  can arise which may leave you feeling dissatisfied with the level of service you have received.  Under these circumstances, we ask that you put your complaint in writing and sent it to the julia grant academy, Office 3, the Springboard Centre, Mantle Lane, Coalville, Leicester LE67 3DW.  Please  be assured that any concerns will be treated with due consideration and  confidentiality as swiftly as possible.

11: Disabled Access

Wheelchair/disabled access and other facilities are regrettably limited.  If  you require disabled access or other disabled facilities please check with us before making the booking.  We accept your reservation on the basis that you have informed us in writing about any disability you have, as well as other conditions such as allergies, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes, or any reason that could make it unwise for you to visit the julia grant academy.  It is essential that you provide full information on these  aspects at the time of making your reservation.

12: Young Persons

In compliance with current regulations, with respect to CRB checks, at this time courses are only available to students over 18yrs of age.  It regretted at this time that until legislative changes that we cannot be accomodating.  It is hoped that this regulation will be changed in the near future.
